Is time travel possible if yes how?
Hello everybody, my name is K. Deepak chary. Today the topic of our article is “Is time travel possible if yes how?”
Before knowing about time travel, we should know about the theory of relativity.
In this article, we are going to discuss
about
i)
Theory of relativity
ii)
Is time travel possible if yes how?
a)
Theory of relativity
In our surroundings, every object is in a relative position
including time except for light because light speed is constant at every place no
force can change the speed of light. Light is in absolute position.
So, the theory of relativity states that:
i)
Every object around you is in relative motion
or rest except light.
ii) An object which travels fast for the time will be slower
Time
Dilation:
According to the theory of relativity, object travels at high-speed
time will be slower.
In 1971, one experiment was done in that experiment they
used an atomic clock. they kept one atomic clock on earth.
And one in an aeroplane. they asked the pilot to travel around
the earth. after the aeroplane completes one round, they kept both clocks together
and they find some time difference that is billionth of the second more in
aeroplane compared to an atomic clock which is kept on earth.
So by this, we can understand that increase in speed, time
will decrease. If we travel with the light speed that is 3*10^8 m/s
Time will be feezed.
Space-time:
Generally, some members think that before the big bang there
are no planets there is only clear space but they don’t know that
After the big bang, only the universe and space-time were
formed.
Time depends on the gravity and mass of the body.
Time will be slower near the massive objects compared to
less massive objects.
In our space, Blackhole is a very massive object and it
brings bend in our space-time
Simply, higher massive objects bring more bend in space
time.
By seeing the below example, you will get clarity about space
time.
If we take our solar system as an example:
Sun has more mass than planets and their moons that is
the reason planets revolve around the sun. as we know that planets have more
mass than their moons that is the reason moons revolve around their planets.
By the above two example, we can conclude that space-time bends
at higher massive objects.
b)
Is time travel possible If yes how?
There are many theories about time travel. Some members
say time travel is possible and some members say time travel is not possible
So, there are 2 ways for time travel
1st way is travelling at light speed that is 3
*10^8 m/s but travelling at light speed is impossible because light doesn’t have
any mass. If any object increases its speed its mass and weight changes. light
don’t have any mass that is the reason why it can travel at that speed but any the object has mass so it cannot travel at light speed.
Our 1st way is closed because we cannot travel
at light speed.
2nd way is spending some time near the black
hole but this is also impossible because light also cannot escape from blackhole so, if our speed is more than light speed it can possible but we can
travel more than light speed so, in this way also we cannot do time travel.
If an astronaut be in ISS that is International Space
Station for 6 months after coming back to earth his aged 0.005 seconds less
than people on earth.
So, we can conclude time travel is not possible.

you for reading this article
